Share of new subscribers who end up buying. Rough range: 1 to 3.

This is a simple model: every number is a monthly average, and it assumes buyers purchase within the same month they subscribe. It is an estimate, not a forecast or a promise of results. Your inputs stay in your browser and are not sent anywhere.

How it works

The math behind the calculator

A sales funnel has two conversion steps that matter most: visitors who become subscribers, and subscribers who become customers. Multiply them through and you get revenue.

ResultFormula
New subscribers (leads)Visitors × opt-in rate
CustomersLeads × share who buy
Net revenueCustomers × price × (1 − refund rate)
Revenue per leadNet revenue ÷ leads
Revenue per visitorNet revenue ÷ visitors. This is also the most you can pay per visitor and break even.
ProfitNet revenue − traffic cost − other monthly costs

Worked example

1,000 visitors a month, a 30% opt-in rate, 2% of subscribers buying, and a $97 price. That gives 300 leads and 6 customers, so net revenue is $582 a month, or about $1.94 per lead and $0.58 per visitor. If each visitor costs $0.40 in ads, traffic costs $400 and profit is $182. Change the numbers above to see how each one moves the result.

Not sure what your rates should be? The 7-Day Funnel Launch Checklist has rough targets for opt-in, open, click and sales rates. The sales rate here means the share of new subscribers who buy. To test how fast an affiliate offer could add up, see the Affiliate Income Calculator.

FAQ

Questions about funnel revenue

What is revenue per lead?

It is your net revenue divided by the number of new subscribers. It tells you how much each email address is worth to you, which sets the most you can pay to get one and still break even.

What is a good opt-in rate?

For a lead magnet page, 20 to 40% is a rough range, but it varies a lot with niche, traffic source and offer. Cold paid traffic often converts lower than a warm audience. Your own numbers over several weeks are the best benchmark.

What is a good sales rate?

1 to 3% of subscribers buying is a rough rule of thumb, and it depends on price and how well the offer matches the lead magnet. Treat it as a starting guess, then replace it with your real data.

How do I find my leak?

The calculator compares your opt-in rate and sales rate with those rough targets and shows the step with the biggest gap, plus the extra monthly revenue you would get by closing it. Fix one step at a time and measure again.

Why check the free plan limit?

The Systeme.io free plan lists 2,000 contacts. If your funnel works, your list grows, so the calculator estimates when you would pass that limit and which plan would fit your list size. It is an estimate that assumes nobody unsubscribes.

Does it work for any funnel builder?

Yes. The revenue math is the same on any platform. Only the plan check at the end refers to Systeme.io.
